At first glance it is not apparent that the figure is bound. Yet there is something curious, something that draws you in. As with our lives it is only upon closer inspection that the viewer becomes aware that the figure is a captive of something hidden. This piece is about isolation. It’s about learning to open ourselves to the world around us. It’s about realizing that we belong to a bigger picture.
